Sick!!!

FYI Again pointed out that I was rather very passionate and extremely dogmatic in my remarks in my other post that Armstrongism was one of the wickedest religions of mankind. Maybe I was a "little" over the top but I do believe that most of the XCG splinters are EVIL and they need to be resisted and fought vigourously at ALL costs but this video I am about to show you from Fred Phelps' anti-gay (and proud of it) church by the name of Westboro Baptist Church has a new video called, "God Hates The World" truly takes the cake! This guy makes Rod Meredith look like the more "moderate" Billy Graham!!! Somebody show this man John 3:16 but probably it doesn't exists in this man's warped mind. Make sure you see the ending of this video and you will definately say to yourself, "Is this child abuse or what???"
If any "fundagelical" (with apologies to Gavin Rumney) wants to complain about videos on MTV, this is one of the sickest music videos, ever. Sad, it had to be religious.

More UCG stupidity

Richard Burkard, a United Church of God member is waaay more long suffering than Alice Kramden of the Honeymooners (Gen Yers, I am talking about the '50's TV series---not the 2000's movie!) , I think it's time that Richard not feel guilty about losing his patience with the continual stupidity that still exists in the UCG. What I am I talking about? I will let Richard speak for himself:

You'll be pleased to know the United Church of God declares itself NOT guilty of "legalism." And to prove it, here's a partial list of all the things I've heard my UCG Pastor oppose in recent years:
1. eHarmony.com -- "God doesn't work that way."
2. Roller coasters. They're dangerous, and might tempt God.
3. Poems in sermons/sermonettes. This one was declared out of order just last weekend.
4. Pirate Master, the CBS summer reality series. Its promos promoted lying and stealing so much, it was condemned even before its premiere.
5. Bank of America. The Pastor said a boycott would be in order, after it announced plans to allow immigrants to get bank services without Social Security numbers.
6. Politicians in Armani outfits. He seemed to condemn Nancy Pelosi for wearing Armani on TV, after the November 2006 national election.
7. The city of Atlanta. Because it has not repented of its sins, the Southeast is in a major drought in 2007.
This same Pastor opposed the following things during his years in WCG, and to this point I have not heard them revoked in UCG:
1. The Simpsons. It tears down the family.
2. Children appearing in TV commercials -- for violating the "fires of Molech" principle.
That's all I can think of for the moment -- but I'll add to the list as things come to mind. Here's hoping you heed all these warnings, and walk humbly before God.

Editors note (in two words): Yeah right! UCG minister: GROW THE HECK UP!!!! (actually 8 words but whooose counting!)

Wise words from Neotherm: Fundies are bullies

There is a spirit that connects all fundamentalists together. It is the spirit of being a bully. This attitude is easy to find among evangelicals and Armstrongites. What these fundamentalist use to bully others is Biblical scripture. They talk about Hell, the Tribulation and the End of the Age with great energy and enthusiasm. And through fear they hope to capture and enslave the hearers. What I find to be revealing is that seldom have I ever detected a spirit of love in these declarations of present or impending diaster. I find, instead, a spirit of resentment and a desire to harm. I believe that Armstrongites view with glee the misery recounted daily by the news media. The attitude of the bully actually permeated Armstrongism. I have been around many of the leading men in the WCG who were at Big Sandy in the Seventies. The word "bully" describes them accurately. They were people who fully leveraged themselves using the hierarchical structure of command. Another phrase that comes to mind is "loveless". When interacting with these people I never got a sense that they motivated by love. While this is an extradinarily strong proof that Armstrongism is a non-Christian cult, it is also a very personal experience that does not serve well to inform everybody. You had to be there. While the mouth is the principal weapon among these people, I am not surprised that Dart would reach for a shooting iron. It is all in the same spirit. And besides, Armstrongites have advocated the exermination of Native Americans, Maoris and other indigenous peoples for years. While they would probably not lift a finger to accomplish it, the spirit of murder is still present.
