Oooh I couldn't resist!

I couldn't resist to bring another youtube.com clip from Mark! This one is Are There Prophets and Apostles tody? A relevant message to the XCG's where ol' Gerry of Philadelphia is considered "That Prophet!" and David Pack is considered "God's Apostle". Mark has some splendid advice: run away from these people as far as you can! Sorry that the picture on the video is somewhat blurred.

If Hebrews 1 is to be believed, there was one last prophet: Jesus Christ. After that, there was no need.

In fact, the Revelation of Jesus Christ in, well, Revelation, is the final piece that puts it all together: We finally have the broad sweep of what will happen to the world, humanity, the universe. There isn't much which could follow that except local haggling about niggling details -- which, if you note, the prognosticators always get it wrong -- which is why they are quite irrelevant. Anyway, Revelation says not to add a thing. It's amazing how many people think they can add to a finished Book.

It never ceases to amaze me to see Herbert Armstrong in various videos once again, all confident about how the Germans are going to invade the United States and take slaves, how there will be famine, disease epidemics, natural disasters, all culminating in the beginning of the end, with the ultimate end [wait for it!] in 1975!

Matthew 7:15 springs to mind.
