..and also tithing pays off for Toronto-based Pentecostals

Read 'em and weep, courtesy of today's edition of the Toronto Star newspaper at http://www.thestar.com/News/article/187986 . Now I know why ex-XCGers can get a little emotional on the issue about tithing one's personal income. Without financial accountability, you just do NOT know where money for the church is properly (if ever) diverted.

Let's perform a thought experiment: Let's suppose that a member of this congregation found out about the luxury and began to tell others about it in this group? What would be the reaction?

The answer to that should tell us all a great deal about the group dynamics when people fall under the domination of a psychopath.

Reference "Snakes in Suits: When Psychopaths Go to Work" by Dr. Paul Babiak and Dr. Robert Hare.

i don't believe in the tithe but i don't judge as much as most people do about it. i have a lot against the tithe but not much against the people who advocate it. I guess we've allowed this for ourselves. we've let this one slide because we are not smart enough to see through the veil that is covering over our eyes. i don't know, i don't put all the blame on the people who rip dump people off. http://churchtithesandofferings.com

This whole thing is just another form of idolatry, substituting the preacher for the golden calf.

And who is responsible for that?

Aaron?

Or the people worshipping the golden calf?
