Theological slaves of the RCG: Dennis Diehl (and I) want to make you free!!!

To the teens and adults of the non-Christian cult by the name of the Restored Church of God run by non other than cult leader and false prophet David Pack who masquerades as an Apostle of Jesus Christ, I ask you a question? Are you tired of the totalitarianism than you are being placed under? Are you sick of the fact that every aspect of your life is being govened, the way you dress, how you keep the Sabbath, what you read, write, think or even blog! Yes, it is a sin in the Restored Church of God for one to have a blog none other than for commercial purposes according to Pack crony and automaton Kevin Denee! It is the most dictatorial, theo-fascistic, totalistic article that has been ever written by the RCG. I felt like slamming the table over this evil propaganda not-so-cleverly-disguised as truth from God. As usual, with Armstrongism it is a utilitarian culture hates the arts and belittles people who divulge in it claiming "it is a waste of time" and not "character-building". That's why you'll find little or no actors, whether cinematic or live theatre, no painters like a Picaso or musicians (definately never rock) nor writers (like novelists, screenwriters,etc.) in the Restored Church of God or anyother Church of God splinter. I grew up in the WCG as a teenager in the 1980's, loved to write (and still do at 36) and faced some same hogwash by narrow-minded ministers and members who couldn't give two craps about the appreciation of imagining things and writing it down on paper. As the latest edition of Kingdom of Cults it was criticized that Herbert Armstrong's false mastepiece Mystery of the Ages read more of a science ficiton novel than one about theology. I guess Armstrongite leaders don't want competition though people write fiction and know it is fiction but fanatically believed that MOA is truth! Go figure! Banning anyone from using a blog is Armstrongism's latest assaults on the arts but there is good news. Dennis Diehl (and myself) want to make you free. The first step of freedom is reading Dennis' article at http://ezinearticles.com/?An-Open-Letter-to-the-Teens-in-the-Restored-Church-of-God&id=320190# . Free your mind and let your behind follow!

If COG's are so "anti-art," how do you explain all the musical programs over the decades -- at places such as Ambassador Auditorium?

P.S. I have a CD, you know.... :-->

My favourite contrarian. Here's an article from the late great Jesse Ancona at http://www.keithhunt.com/jesse/ifyourhandoffend.htm and an piece from her e-book Lying with the Truth at http://www.keithhunt.com/jesse/wcg-04.htm#sec06. This should settle the question.

Oh yes! Also this section from Lying with The Truth at http://www.keithhunt.com/jesse/wcg-03.htm#sec06. That should also settle it.
